I have sucked eating wise Thursday through yesterday. 4 pounds in those 3 days. Diet sodas and poor food choices. I'm going to weigh in today and again Friday morning before surgery. Today I grab the control back and stop putting crap into my body. Uuggghhh to self destructive behavior.
66.0 kg Lost so far: 3.0 kg.    Still to go: 4.7 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Gaining 2.0 kg a Week

I'm beginning to wonder if it's really 'self-destructive' because everyone does it now and then. Just mentally meandering around here but is it possible, just as we physically crave certain healthy foods because of some nutritional imbalance, there may be something in those foods that our bodies still crave even after extended periods without them? Or do I need more coffee?

4# in 3 days shouldn’t be fat unless you ate like 10,000 kcal over normal. More than likely most of that is water. Good job getting back on track and good luck for your surgery!

Bella that's interesting. Toy don't need more coffee, I get where you're going. I've never thought of it that way. Pepper oh no, not any where near that. Yesterday was closer to 1800 to 2000. Water weight would be fabulous. Thank you. Liv thank you. I do have this. Jc working on the undoing part today. Getting it going on

Thank you Tata. I mean, we all know what's in our heart and mind when we 'do' it but maybe if we remove the whole 'self sabotage' thought it would remove the 'well, I've messed up now. As long as I'm wet I may as well go swimming' that follows.

You really haven’t done anything destructive here. Get back to regular eating and the weight will go.

me too up 5lbs. Not by my. choice. doctor said to change my diet because of intestinal issues.

We can turn it around. I haven't even weighed. I only weigh on tuesdays so I'll wait and see my damage then. lol

You know...those sodas do me in with water weight....I'll bet your body is holding on to water weight from the soda too. Water will help...know you know that already!

I've done the same this weekend. No big deal! Diet soda is 99.8 percent water. The only bad thing about them is they can cause you to overeat if you still have some left, it gives you an excuse to keep munching. I sometimes drink them alone as it gives me some flavor and can actually help control my appetite.

I've popped up about 3 pounds every now and again which is deflating but just keep on pluggin' on, you're doing the right thing taking control of the reins.

Thank you everyone! No sodas for me. I do just get a fountain drink so it's not hanging around the house. I'm in a good place today so it's focus on!
