Day 6: All worth it, on the downward swing again. Now I just have to keep it up. Started a few new habits, such as "milky" tea made with almond milk after working the evening shift. I get home and I'm tired and hungry, instead of eating, my "milky" tea is very nice and comforting. I will probably adapt it as an evening "snack" every night before bed! Today I walked 10,796 steps, 7.22km, burning 2,187 calories. Working again today, but not as much walking involved. we will see if I hit 10,000. Also there is a blizzard outside at the moment, so it will most likely be a slow day all around.

Lindart you've lost so much. Well done. I drink milky tea, skim milky coffee and camomile tea every day. These drinks fill me up, hydrate and have some nutrients too. I lost fifty pounds but have stalled the past couple of months. I have a question for you--how did you firm up your slimmer upper arms? I lift weights, use resistance bands and do arm lifts but they still have that "bat wing" look. My legs are okay with my daily walking and stair climbing.

Very nice. If I’m particularly hungry in the evening (I hate going to bed hungry) I’ll also eat 4 triscuit crackers before the tea (I picked 4 because it’s one serving, but whatever works). They’re so high in fibre, that combined with the tea, in about 20 minutes they’ve totally expanded and provide a lasting full feeling. I don’t usually feel full after eating them, so that tea/water and 20 minutes is key :)

trillium1 Thank you! I was doing weights for my arms, but work got in the way. I do a lot of upper arm stuff at work (I work in a thrift shop) putting heavy clothes on racks, and pushing the clothes along the racks so I'm hoping that helps. I also look at my batwings as "hey! This is evidence that I worked hard to lose a bunch of weight! What did you do?" ha ha! But I think weights are they key. Keep up your good work, you are doing great!

Thanks Lindart. Under the loose batwings I know there are real muscles. In any case I'll keep using the weights and try some moves using my triceps more.
