Embrace each season as each one passes too quickly. You have done so well keep it up. It is a lifestyle worth fighting for.

You look great> Maybe you need to find a new way of exercising that you enjoy to maintain. Give it some thought. You are a success poster child.

I agree with Adamevegod1 - find a little something new to motivate you - we all struggle bur never give up!

Erink78- Reassess your WOE. IS it sustainable for the long haul— for life. If that is in question, Consider some tweaks. In the absence of an eating disorder, think about a food plan that is based on HEALTHIER eating but not completely rigid. What you are doing seems to have been very successful, but if you are struggling to maintain the momentum, now is the time to reevaluate and to tweak. This can be done. Don’t go backwards now. Also rethink what exercise is. It doesn’t have to be busting ass at the gym. It can be any activity that keeps you moving, bowling, community 5 k walks with friends, hiking, swim at the local 24 hour fitness, etc. it helps to make your “exercise” something that you can do with other people. It’s tough to be a lone wolf and keep the motivation up.

Kenna nobody around me understands. So i go at this alone. Eating healthy and exercise is a lige style i want to keep going. People make comments but ill be the one my age thats healthy not on all kinds of drugs! Little things the require my strength (now that i think about it ) is because i work out. For example helping my husband drag a deer out of a tough spot (hunting season). Definitely have to see what my prob is . Its been a few weeks and i gotta get back on track. I miss my crazy motivation good feelings

Erink78— I hear you loud and clear. I have lived my lifestyle and WOE for just about 20 years. Good choices most of the time but still enjoy special occasions and celebrations. I don’t and have never been one to overeat and I make sure that I provide my body with the nutrition that it needs to function as good as possible. Like everyone else here, I have a backstory. I have survived way longer than anyone thought— by about 15 years... My issue will get me someday, but not today. For now I take no meds, have no health issues or restrictions and am physically capable of doing anything I want to. I am 70 — healthy and happy. Stay your course. What other people think doesn’t matter, your own commitment is all you need. Support from others is nice, but not necessary..

I'm in the same boat as you, no one around me, including my spouse, eats well or is concerned about health, so I go it alone. I too refuse to have a SMTWTFS pill box if I have any ability to avoid it.

I also am the only one who cares about eating better and being healthier here. I use Fatsecret as my motivation. So many people here understand what I am going through and have been there. You got this! 💪

You can all do this!, it is not rocket science. Loosing unwanted pounds, eating HEALTHIER for a lifetime does not require guilt, cheating or feeling like you are a failure. You just persevere, and move on. Once you have incorporated the change of mindset this all becomes automatic and requires very little thought. I have mentored a couple dozen people in successfully doing this and none of them regained the weight. 8 year old girl, several people between 300-400 lb. and many in between. You can do this too.

Ok am I going to be the only one posting here that is on my way out of my rut?????? Got dam sick and tired of not logging, not eating, not lifting, drinking too much and not getting rest. I’m clawing my way out! Set a new weight goal the other day and I’m going there now! Pull those crying baby panties off, put on your new skinny girl panties and get with your program! Good shedding as you go! 😇

Yes 60pack - I am with you! I had this epiphany in July and I can honestly say I have only gone off the plan 2 times since - one when I was lied to by a family member about ingredients and once when I decided to have flour tortillas while out of town. Definitely not worth the 3 weeks each time to rid my body of inflammation caused! Would I put sugar in my car’s gas tank? I would be CRAZY to even consider it! It’s a slow enough process for me the way it is to even think about doing something I know will have an impact on my progress! The struggle is real and we are all in search of our own healthy path!

This is such a positive string of comments I had to copy the whole thing and paste into a document to show my wife. She doesn't get why I use FS; maybe this will show her. @Erink78, I know where you're coming from, but you can and will continue to succeed. You have the personal knowledge and have a lot of good support here on FS. Be healthy!
