LSG417's Journal, 23 Mar 18

Well, after officially talking to my doctor about my blood work, it would appear that I don't really need to worry about the BUN/creatinine ratio. The individual numbers fall well within the normal range. I looked up the actual ratio test and found out it's not really reliable or very precise. It can show abnormal in healthy people! The more important level is the creatinine itself. I am on the low end of that level, which means my kidneys are functioning properly. Not that I was really concerned, but it's nice to know. I'm still increasing my water intake tho because I know I need to!

Wonderful news!!! Grateful for the info you shared on your last post. I, too, decided I should really increase my water intake after reading your post.

That is great news! My cholesterol is over 300 but my cardiac risk ratio is very low because my exercise and diet have upped my good lipids and decreased my triglycerides. Of course I had to make an appointment to find that out.
