Stayed completely on track with breakfast and lunch, hadn't even had cravings. After lunch my bestie drove me to pick up a new painkiller Rx for a knee injury sustained yesterday, that is when the day changed. I'd forgotten how I feel on pain killers, haven't had one in six years. Now I am sitting here, not even hungry, feeling half wasted with the munchies.... all I can think about is loaded mashed potatoes and cheesey garlic bread. Thank heavens there are no potatoes or any bread items in the house! LOL
I did go browsing the cabinets for something to munch on,I found an old pack of Ramen, ripped it open and dumped it in the garbage. So I sit here with a bag of pork rinds dreaming of potatoes. These painkillers are going to make knee recovery tough, but as long as I don't buy bad food, all will be well. Does anyone else fantasize about carbs?

I feel so bad for you, but so glad that you can make light of your situation. The 'Munchie' part made me laugh! Yes, I about cracked when I smelled my granddaughter's chocolate cake cooking in the rock crock the other day. I felt like I was an addict and had to have it! But quickly corrected myself by imaging what it would look like on my body and grabbed something else that was LCHF approved. I realized that I need a short term reward besides looking down at my scale cause its moving to darn slow.. LOL! Hoping you less pain soon, so that you don't have to take the 'Cookie Monster' drugs! Hee Hee!

I sure do crave carbs don't need them but I still would like something sweet and crunchy. So today I made chocolate waffles made them thin and crunchy, it did the trick! 2 carbs each only ate one 😜 Got my fix lol

Moondove, that is it, an addict feeling LOL. I did the same, thinking what it would do to my body is enough of a deterrent. Patty, chocolate waffles Do sound good! I just ordered some Carbquik Baking Mix, I'll have to try those.

Squirrel you need to order some Walden Farms chocolate syrup no carb no sugar no anything lol. I used a cup of carbquik and enough syrup and water to make it pourable thats it!
