Woke at 217.2, down 3.0 after day one of the Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD). Targeting 800 calories today, split evenly between veggies and nuts/oils. UPDATE: Went to my other doctor this morning and got similar news. I still will do blood work once a month, so that will let me stay on top of that for health purposes. Stuck with FMD and ended the day a few calories over 800. Gigantic day of flushing through water and bulk. Got cold in the evening without my internal furnace, so the body is definitely feeling the calorie reduction. Weighed 215.8 at 10 pm.

Hi, I would of posted about your cancer remission etc but my phone eats messages on fs - It turns out it can't take 100 mph hit to a brick wall either - LOL - Congrats Dick, you are really superhuman - Great rolemodel - Go Green!!!! Note - fs makes me hungry with all of the food pictures - Ironic?

After reading your post concerning FMD I listened to a one hour interview with the doctor. Have you found a good list of food on your own or did you purchase his product? I'm not saying that I would do it but I could see that they do not sell to my country. I was disappointed to hear that he thinks that we should not go over 12 hours without eating since I usually do. It does seem like a much safer way of fasting as I really worry about people on a water fast without being monitored by a doctor. Thank you by the way for sharing your information, it has been invaluable for me.

Awesome loss ... and isn't it cool to know we can "fast" while eating food. If you got cold, it means you are burning fat for fuel. Well done!
