I woke up at 4:47am this morning and was feeling peculiarly ambitious. I ate my breakfast WHILE doing my Bible Reading, and then got right to work cleaning out and organizing my Can Pantry. (Dang! I should have taken a “before” picture!) All the shelves are 23” Wide, and the top four are 12” (2) and 15” (2) High and all are 18” Deep. The Bottom shelf (which is the only one I haven’t finished yet, is 36” DEEP. The way it all began was that I wanted to get all my spices OFF my counter. To do that, I had to take a bunch of stuff out of the cabinet above the dishwasher. That stuff needed to go into the Can Pantry. OH, in that first hour, I also cleaned off the kitchen counters and sanitized them, and put all the dishes into the sink to soak. I’m planning to actually RECORD my exercise for today. Off to a good start with 1 hour of cleaning already under my belt.

I’ve decided that a good way to get active is to balance my computer time with things I have to GET UP to do. Reply to someone’s post, get up and fold a load of laundry. Post on the Christian Community Group, get up and load the dishwasher, etc. I spend several hours a day on the FatSecret website, so it should give me MANY opportunities to get up and MOVE. I’ll set my stop watch feature on my phone to keep track of exactly how much exercise I’m doing. All the rest of the time will be “studying” as I’m reading & replying to messages for the 90-Day Challenge. When I stop to watch TV with my husband late this afternoon, I’ll count that as Rest. Everyday so far, I’ve just let my Exercise Journal default to 8 hours of sleep and ALL the remainder as Rest. I’ve noticed a real slump in my “productiveness” house-wise lately. So, after that first solid hour, I took a break to hand-write some things into this new Engagement Calendar I got for 50% when Sam’s Club just closed. Had to go back to January 1st and find dates I made certain new dishes, record when I’ve kept the grandkids, and record my Net Carbs in the margin for each day.

The next cleaning spree was another hour. I moved everything from the DW cabinet into the can pantry and was able to get all my spices OFF my counter and put them INTO the DW cabinet. Plus, I pre-washed the dishes, loaded/ran the dishwasher and folded and put away a basket of towels.

For my “break,” I continued writing this LONG Journal, and transferred some funds online.

Next task was 10 minutes wrapping three birthday presents. Actually, I’ve decided this is taking too much time. SO, here are the pix of what I’ve done so far. I’ll share one of the Can Pantry when it’s done.
