Draglist's Journal, 11 Oct 16

Woke at 218.0, up .8 from yesterday. A bit of a surprise after a 650 calorie IF day. Pants fit tight so it's water retention. No matter. It will drain out! Targeting 2070 calories today as I adjust my daily intake downward based on analysis of my most successful months. UPDATE: Came home after work at 216.2. Ate a good dinner and was pretty well on track but those damned superfoods showed up from Amazon. So I ate another half cup of Greek yogurt so I could add maca powder, chlorella, and a few Goji berries (where the carbs came in). Hit 2278 on a 2070 target. Will try to make it up tomorrow with a mid week mini-fast to get on the 2070 calories per day average (non-IF).

Water weight is no big worry, as you said it'll drain. Have a great day. :)

I was planning on fasting today. Didn't work out that way ;) Maybe over the weekend when I have no work. But then again, work keeps the mind busy

Getting myself a scale like yours this weekend! May sound a bit morbid... my mother was living with someone who had heartdisease/heartfailure and he was required to use this scale. His insurance company paid for it. He passed away a couple years ago. I was speaking about these to my mother and she told me the story. I'm meeting up with her this weekend.

You utilize this site really well. It's great to have your past recordings as a reference. Excellent discipline.

Bill you know I am no expert by any means, but one thing I have learned with all the different diets on the market. Bottom line alot of times it comes down to net calorie intake. The St. Pete Times one time did a 3 page article on diets and even said a version of the adkins diet was back in the 50's and many other diets as well. I know in my case middle age, ( I dont feel middle age female its 1200-1300 calories net to lose) For example I know there is different version of adkins but I knew this one lady who lost 52 pounds and then gained back 75. Even I know what I need to do. I know you will figure it out and also know you new medication complicates things. Best of Luck :)
