Oh No! Is he better now?

Classic & HCB - it was another out of control nosebleed due to blood thinners. The nosebleeds do not bother the cardiologist but they sure do bother us. DH is fine, but has to keep his nose packed until Wednesday (when he makes another visit to the nose, ear & throat specialist). He is not a happy camper.

So sorry to hear...of trip to ER and of ongoing plight of DH and you. I had not read this when i posted regarding your weigh-in Or I would not have posted.(On a "regional" note, aren't you glad recent rains have been rains...lol) Have a blessed week...And to all buddies who read this, lets try to have 7 straight days of NO unscheduled hospital visits for ourselves and immediate family members :) (I prove myself "Pollyana" at times on FS, don't I?)

So sorry to hear about the nosebleeds - and pleased the cardiologist isn't bothered by them even if you and DH are!! Not very pleasant and I'm sure that having one's nose packed for days on end is most uncomfortable. I hope things improve for you soon. Xx

My neighbor has gone through the very same thing with the nose bleeds. The other drug of choice is far more harmful than getting nosebleeds (the doctors feel) so they just let the patients deal with it. My neighbor told me they said she would build up and eventually the nosebleeds would stop. My hubby is taking a generic form of Plavix. Wonder if that is how it's different than from what your hubby is taking?

I had my nose packed for a severe unrelenting nosebleed last fall, very painful!! The sinus pain and pressure alone put me down the entire time it was packed. I hope he can find a way to stay comfortable until it comes out, and I hope the ENT specialist can help.
