OK, ate a ton today and went over my calorie target. Was doing great until I had 20 freaking dates. Yes, 20 dates were 257 calories and 68 grams of carbs! At least they are natural I guess. Also having a few drinks. The Beef Bourguignon Denise made for dinner was amazing, but holy crap -- 600 calories! Luckily, I'm working from home tomorrow so I can sneak in another HIIT workout at noon.

There's a French restaurant in Baltimore that kiddo took me to for Mother's Day last year and I had my first Beef Bourguignon. I really doubt if I even counted the calories.

I couldn't have resisted the dates either. Never had Beef Bourguignon but it sounds so good. You are lucky to have a chef for a wife.

Uh ... I never knew that. I mean I knew I should weigh before dinner but I tried that and I weighed more. :) But that explains my fat % and water %'s a bit better. Thanks!
