I'm going off to spend the long weekend with family in Philly. We had to reroute the trip, because part of the interstate there is a canal! It's always hard for me to eat with these dear ones because they practice low fat/high carb eating and my low carb WOE requires separate ingredients. I'll take along some konjack noodles, stevia soda and other keto ingredients and do my best to stay on track. Also, it's a 5 hour drive each way. I find that I have old habits of amusing myself in the car with constant snacking. This will take some planning - to take along a few boring and allowable snacks, so that I don't mindlessly indulge.

Have a great trip! Maybe you can trick yourself out of car snacking by giving yourself a "no eating in the car" rule. This would mean you'd have to stop somewhere to enjoy a snack, and that might serve as a deterrent.

Philly is the beat. Try Zig Zag barbecue for low carb food that everyone will like. Other good places to eat include Bloomsday, pizzeria Beddia (worth the carbs), South, Amma’s South Indian, High Street on Market, and Vernick. It’s the best restaurant city in America and most have outdoor tables right now. You’ll need a vaccine card to get inside many places

I always try to pre-plan as much as possible too because I've found its easy to derail if I don't. You got this! Have fun and stay safe!
