Greetings Buddies!

I am amazed at how engaged I am with my exercise routine. When we went to Boston in early December and I found a Planet Fitness that allowed "drop-ins" so I went twice.

Now, we are going to Daytona, FL in February and I already found a Planet Fitness I can go to while on vacation...What is the deal?

I don't know when this change happened, but it feels good right now.
The drawback is my weight...I eat well most days and can stay on track...but the IDIOT BOX is just not on my radar. I have not weighed because the last few times it said the same damned number over and over!

I cannot grasp how it is possible to workout hard four days a week and eat reasonably clean and NOT see the weight change. My DH says the scale is broken...LOL - not sure about that!

I am dedicated, determined, and diligent!

I am not the expert, but have read that your muscles take in more water after vigorous exertion. Or maybe the scale really is broken - LOL

You are probably in for a big surprise loss when you do break down. :)

LOL - the box is broken, the box is broken. It must be when it repeats the same thing. I keep thinking of getting one of those fabulous scales that tells me something wonderful every morning and leaves the whole number out of the conversation. Want me to order you one too? LOL.

Yeah girl! Forget the scale. Maybe look at your BF% or your measurements to see if you're losing inches? My scale doesn't move much these days either, unless I had ONE bad day and it wants to go up!

Keep at it, I bet you are losing inches! Way to go to plan ahead to find a place to work out.

Before my injuries, I was working out 7 days a week for at least 2 hours a day and the scale was not only stuck, it had started creeping up - even though I wasn't eating more. So I have to say that exercise is NOT the magic answer to weight loss but it sure does make you feel better.

Hello HCB! Long time no talk to - I have just now started trying to get better about this site. My exercise is pretty good - I have been going to the gym about 5 days a week. My scale moves down a little bit, but I have had problems where I will go nuts for one day after having been good for 4 or 5 days, so the scale goes back up and I once again tackle making it go down. I found I wasn't weighing for a while, but for the more I weigh the better it is for me - not weighing for me is like not knowing your bank balance and keeping going to the ATM.
