Draglist's Journal, 10 Jun 20

Woke at 230.2, down .2 from yesterday. Started with weights, water, Pure Protein drink, and black coffee. Going to the kidney doc today to check on some slowly increasing creatinine levels my oncologist has noticed. This is an audition -- waiting to hear about my high protein. If she recommends vegan, the affair is over! UPDATE: Doc needs to study my (long) supplement list. She would like me to limit the protein drinks and powder for a while. Supplements, too, but not for sure yet. She wants me at .8 grams of protein per kilo, which is only about 83 grams per day at my current weight. That would be a tough pill to swallow. I need to get the kidneys sonogrammed and take a few blood tests. Got to 229.9 before dinner.

Vegan??? I heard of that before. If I eat my meat first then vegetables last, does that make me vegan if there was no evidence of flesh on my plate? Good luck with the DR visit.

Hope everything goes well with the scan. Cutting out protein powders won't be as bad as not being able to have those tasty meats. :) Take care.

Blah... I'm sorry you have to be trying to sort these things out. But better to get some advice about what a good balance is for your body I guess. Good luck figuring things out!

Hope not taking those meds helps with the high levels. Glad the doc is trying to find solutions proactively. Take care.
