NSV Last night my daughter and her boyfriend brought home some Krispy Kreme doughnuts. My first thought was, "Oh, no, doughnuts in the house!" Then I realized I don't really like Krispy Kreme doughnuts. They are too sweet for me. Why would I eat something that neither delicious nor healthy? In addition, the teacher in me really hates that they spell words that start with C with K's. It's hard enough to teach kids how to spell correctly when they are constantly exposed to incorrect, cutesy spellings! I'm just thankful they weren't nice, puffy glazed twists or buttermilk bars, especially from VG Donuts!
