I had that divided neatly into 2 columns- this month's loss and total loss but it all got smooshed together. Oh well.

Awesome progress! I'm proud of you! I bet you lost even more since you're gaining back a lot of muscle and strength from the past. <3

"aka top roll" roflmao. I kind of want to change my user name now. You've coined an instant classic.

Looks to me like you are right on track! If I did the math correctly then you are halfway to you goal in time and weight lost. Your intake seems to be spot on for you so great job! Diablo is right, you’ve gained some muscle working out so probably did lose more fat. Love how supportive you two are of each other!

Thank you! That's just my first goal. I've never weighed anything less than that so I think I am hesitant to make it lower but I plan to be within my ideal body weight range. The google home mini says 5' tall woman should be 100# and an additional 5 pounds for every inch so I should be about 145... I can't picture that being attainable- at all. Maybe I will have more muscle and be 160? I don't know what it will be like until I get there but I assume 10-15 pounds or more will be loose skin because I am quite sure I will die in surgery if I try to get it removed. That's something I have convinced myself of because I am a little crazy about some stuff. ;)

I feel the same. At 5.5 and 152 not sure how much if anymore I need to lose. I have lost 40 lbs and thought my ideal was 138 and my goal only because some dr back in the day commented on an annual physical my weight was "perfect" . I feel fit and healthy and my body shape looks slim. 59 years old and cant expect to have a 28 " waist. I am happy in a size 10. I would like my waistline to be smaller but that may not be realistic. And yes on the vanity surgery... you can in fact die from that from my own personal experience.

Gogo- the way you said can die from it from your own experience makes me think you died and came back. Did you have loose skin removed? I would LOVE to be in a size 10. Bought 12's today because the 14's I tried were too lose (in this particular brand) and these 12's are a little (a lot) snug but buttoned and zipped so I cannot wait to wear them in a month. 5'5" and 152 sounds good to me- especially at 59 years young. Good for you!

Lol I was the same! Then I had a choice to do some preventative surgeries and decided if I didn’t do then I’d die from cancer so I may as well risk it on the table. Lucky me they found the cancer that was hiding so it was the right choice. Now I know I won’t die. I like surgery. Well I like whatever makes me happy afterward lol. I like that I am up and around way before they think I should be. I liked that they sucked a pound of fat from my tummy and sides and put them around the implants. I don’t like that I lost it with my weight loss yet the tummy has a new layer of fat that’s the same as pre surgery lol. If you ever need surgery the fear will lessen with each one. Number 3 was a breeze. I won’t mentioned how much I prayed before surgery 1&2 lol. You would be fine at 160 I think. I’m 5’3 approximately and my ideal is 126. I felt my best right around 122 so I’d prefer to lose fat and build muscle while staying 120-125. One dr wants me around 130 and another says 110. 🤷♀️ You’ll know your ideal when you get there and feel great 😉.

DavidPrincess- No I havent had loose skin removed. But did choose to have a different form of elective surgery that I thought would make me feel better about myself. I checked in for the procedure at the hospital thinking I would go home in a day or two. . Yes dead, shocked back to life on the operating table. Then again in intensive care. My body couldnt handle the anesthesia.

Very scary! Wow! Glad you pulled through. I almost died during my c section... so that's where my fear is from. Worth it to die for my children, but not to look better in a bathing suit. But I would do it in a heartbeat if I was guaranteed it would go smoothly.

Great work and progress - anyone who wants to give you advice typically disappears after a while and gains most of their weight back by next year! I have been here for many years watching the drama - I simply ignore it and listen to my own body. I experiment and make changes from time to time and, yes, remain at a higher weight than I want to be...but I am fit and healthy and active which is more important to me! I have kept off over 70 pounds for six years.

And I am 64 years old with thyroid stuff!

I like what you say - you are not here for advice. I only want advice when I ask for it and like most of us, I'm here for support - both giving support and receiving it.
