SO FUNNY! I was about to get snarky with you about posting pictures of DONUTS (when I did NOT need to see them), but as I scrolled down, I was delighted. Thankfully, Dunkin' Donuts (where I worked as the Store Manager for 2 years (8 years ago), has dramatically changed, so I'm not even TEMPTED by them anymore! They only put on about HALF of the icing and Fillings that they used to! Not even worth blowing it for! (That's a GOOD thing - at least for me!)

@ Deb - lol. I think it's been about five years since visiting Kristy Kreme for me. No loss. Now, that bakery about 8 blocks away that makes mind blowing Apple fritters is a different story. I've considered using Kenna's walking directive to be able to work one into a weekly pleasure.

2 now 3 comments. Tee hee FullaBella. Personaly I'd be thrilled to find veggies in the box but I am the VeggieCrusader. However I don't live near a Krispy Kreme but I hear I need to have a warm one before I die. (right before I die so I don't have to digest it! HA!!)

Because of that donut controvery I looked up nutrion of donuts and was shocked to see how many chemicals KK put in there. I had never thought about bakeries adding the same kind of chemicals as those that may be in packaged goods. I tried to find if the nearby coffee shop where I live do the sam (Tim Hortons) but they do not have their ingredients listed anywhere. I decided that maybe I just have to bake when I want a goodie. I can bake

I just googled "Tim Horton ingredients." There are two sites -- one for Canada and the other for the US. I didn't open them, but I wonder if the difference is just metric v. imperial?!

I've never been that crazy about donuts - rarely bought them for home. When I was working someone was always bringing in donuts. Sometimes I'd have one and often I wouldn't. But the Krispy Kreme glazed donuts are just too goo to resist. So glad there isn't one anywhere near me. Haven't had one since I retired at the end of 2011.
