HCB's Journal, 20 Nov 12

Back to the drawing board...and to what seems to best work for me: high protein, high fiber, low fat, and low net carbs in fruits and veggies.

The Idiot Box was so frustrating yesterday, I didn't even check my weight today. I really let it cause me to feel discouraged. I will weigh Thursday morning before the feasting so I will have a baseline for comparison after the feasting!

I still have some twinges of pain in my Achilles tendon and continue to be mindful of it - sometimes just walking too much feels bad. I want to get back to my Jillian DVDs next week - but, of course, will do NO impact moves only.

Still grateful for:

- The people I love who love me back!
- The good health of my loved ones
- My FS Buddies who support and encourage me to continue
- "Butt-kicking" myself to a smaller size today

You have had an amazing consistent weight loss since you started, don't let that idiot box change your mind set, what you are doing is working but you still might hit that dreaded plateau. I found the only thing to do is to relax and wait it out.

I totally understand, my scale is not cooperating either. I feel so grew though, that I'm just trying to focus on that. Sorry about that tendon, what a bother. I lived with pain in my joints for years, I understand how limiting and frustrating pain can be. Take it easy!

When you find something that works then you'd better stick to it. Now go make nice with the idiot box!

It just means you are getting to where you need to be and your body has to catch up. All is good. Enjoy your new body and celebrate your new look.

I hear your frustration with the achilles tendon. The scale hasn't been moving for me, either. I am just going to try to have some self control on Thursday. Are you cooking at all? That can make it just that much harder.

You can do this! Don't let one day get you down, look at how successful you have been! You go girl!
