Hi everyone. Yesterday, my neck and shoulder muscles were as hard as rocks, despite having taken muscle relaxers and an anti-anxiety pill. A nap didn't help. Neither did a full night of sleep last night. Woke up in pain again this morning. It is SO stressful that I drank a Diet Coke with my breakfast! (I know that's not the way I SHOULD deal with stress, but I didn't even care this morning.) I DID eat a nice "legal" breakfast , though, including one of the Keto Rolls I baked yesterday.

Feel better. Wish I could do paragraphs here. Try some heat on your neck, my routine every morning now is a hot rice bag on my neck. Trigger point balls can help, tennis balls will work here though they are a tad big and softer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDTB9UtEzt4 This you tube video shows how they work, course look for more. My trainer started me using these on my neck and upper back pain. Neck stretches also help. Those look delicious. One of my friends was telling me about keto biscuits with almond flour. Any of you tried this?

Debbie- my trapezius locks up and causes a terrible headache (not eating on time, nuts, dairy). I have taken muscle relaxers for decades but I also pick up two heavy dumbbells (75# usually) and do three sets of twenty slow shrugs to wear it out so it can’t flex so hard. Also moves fluids around and gets the muscle relaxer to where it’s needed.

@TomLong - Yeah it is crazy but that works for me. Sore muscles? Pick up my dumbbells (I only have 50# ones), and do a workout. Pain, gone :)

Keto rolls look great. Wonderful video on how to put ingredients together and how to measure dough and divide into 8 equal pieces. Found it on google Keto Rolls. Love these and they are so low carb.

Alternating application of a cold pack (or ice bag), 20 min. on/20 min. off, works for me when I have sore muscles. I have several sizes of cold packs in my freezer. Always on hand! Feel better, @Debbie Cousins!

Have you tried an Epsom salts bath? 1-2 Cups in a nice warm/ hot bath, a little lavender essential oil, and stay in for 40 minutes to give the salts time to do their job. Hope you feel better soon!
