HCB's Journal, 30 Aug 12

Yippee! We are in southern Wyoming in a hotel with WiFi! I am doing well with healthy food choices and drinking a fair amount of water - but still probably getting more calories in each day than I would normally. I am behind in my food diary but I will update soon.

I have not done my JM DVD for a few days - but we have walked around Yellowstone Park 2-3 miles each day. I am hoping it all evens out in the end when I step on the scale again.

Grateful for:

- The natural beauty surrounding us today.

It sounds like you are having a well balanced vacation. I don't think I've ever had a vacation without some sort of gain but the ones where I was trying to make good choices and getting exercise in when I could always turned out much better than the rest. I'm sure you will find just as good if not better results when you get home. Have fun!

Let that nasty scale fall where it may.. the ability to enjoy nature at it's finest is wonderful, and it will re-new the body, mind and spirit.. Your doing awesome.. enjoy the rest of your trip.

I'm glad you're doing well and having those wonderful walks through Yellowstone. I'm also glad you're not camping there; read an article last night about people getting sick (staying in deluxe tent cabins) and thought immediately of you and hoped you were staying in a hotel. Hooray for WiFi! Enjoy every minute of vacation, buddy!
