I am finally losing the WATER WEIGHT in my feet and legs, so this is probably not a FAT loss but that is okay, getting myself back in order. My son forgot to pick up the blood glucose meter when he got my Rx the other day so don't know what my blood sugar is doing but I am going to assume with the amount I am eating it is okay.

Slept 12 hours last night nearly noon when David finally got me up, I was DREAMING AND DREAMING, DITTO YESTERDAY....but the pulse ox showed I was running high pulse O2 and low heart rate so the few seconds I would stop breathing were not running my pulse up really high or my O2 level very low.

During the day O2 and HR vary depending on what I am doing and that is okay. I am taking some more walks outside and looking at the plants I have planted. David put up the greenbean trelleses

Weather stormy looking today but no rain.

For dinner I made a tuna, egg and potato salad with olive oil low cal mayo, but I don't really know how to classify how many calories of what that I consumed. I did eat two low cal thin slices of bread with it and I have 800 calories I can spend after my snack, breakfast and lunch so I think I am doing okay calorie wise.

Went outside today, lovely day, coolish and windy but sun shining and long sleeves felt good but also felt good to be outside and exercising and looking at my garden plants

Enjoyed seeing son clay today even if it was from a social distance LOL I have hired him to work some for me to get the place ready to sell. His boss fired him because he had the Covid 19 and was off work a week. Oh, well, we will make it through this some how, though we may have to be locked down until there is a working vaccine as we qualify as "old folks" I m just glad we can do that

After a trip to the doctors to have my blood drawn and check my electrolytes, I am back on medications for diabetes type II, and a lasix pill (water pill) so my legs are no longer swelling---some of my weight was me holding water in my system so probably haven't really lost any more weight just gotten rid of the water that was upping the reading on the scale.

But I will TOTALLY ADHERE TO MY DIET at this point so that I can get rid of the diabetes medicine by dropping the weight.

Type two diabetes is almost entirely dependent on being FAT and as an Advanced Practice Nurse and diabetic teacher I know that and have just let the weight creep up then lose some and then let it creep up again. I KNOW BETTER AND I HAVE TO DO BETTER especially at age 73. I am going to drop another 49 pounds and keep on a reasonable diet not too fast, not too slow.

Am staying locked down on my farm, not going out, on line church and phone calls to friends None of our living history demonstrations with my friends. This was my team of Scotish Highland oxen at Old WAshington State park in Arkansas
