Actually my weight is 196.8 LOL but it felt so good to even drop a part of a pound this morning when I got on the scale.
I fixed my mesquite smoked rabbit chowder which is soooooo good but kept myself from pigging out. Slept well last night though I did keep hitting the snooze this morning until my son brought me some coffee. The storm is over and the sun is out so think I will go for a walk.

Losing 3.2 kg a Week

Well, the weight loss is steady but SLOW, so I am working on a new plan, still 2 to 1500 cal, and since I cook supper from scratch it is hard to gage the absolute number of calories so I can just guess but most of my meals are pretty well fat free and low cal, lots of veggies etc.
4 times a day I make a shake out of 2 cups of ice cubes, one frozen banana and 1/3 cup dry non fat milk. and I use a bit more water than 1 cup, I also add vanilla flavoring and some STEVIA so the banana is about 75 calories and the milk 80 calories so that works out to 620 calories for the day and a gallon of liquid I also ahve a half cup of unsweetened apple sauce and some ground organic flax seed to bulk up so I don't get constipated and then have a small meal in the evening. 5 or 600 calories. I need to exercise more and am going to start that this week.
My son and I are still locked down for the covid because at 73 years and having COPD and diabetes if I did get the virus I am very likely to die.
As a retired advance practice registered nurse I am well aware of the risks of this virus and do not take it lightly. Unfortunately almost 50% of the people with the virus do not show any symptoms but can spread it. My son does the shopping necessary and is very careful. Otherwise we stay at home or just take a drive in the country to see some other scenery on pretty days and keep in touch with our friends by phone and e mail.
A relative sent me a home made desert yesterday with not much sugar but whipped cream and strawberries on home made short bread and I ate it but it is the first "sweet" thing I have had in a month.
I guess losing 1 pound in 3 weeks is going to make it pretty slow to lose another 50 pounds but I am proud of myself for losing 23 pounds and my blood sugar is pretty good and as I lose more weight it will get better and better to where I won't even have to take a pill if I watch my weight and eat sensibly

Well been a while since I wrote but doing pretty well diet wise, not losing weight fast, but slowly any way. Became very constipated and am working on stopping that problem which has been a total pain in the arse!
Still locked up during the carona virus, which is spiking again and riots are breaking out in all 50 states due to a cop choking a cuffed unarmed man (black) to death. I don't blame the black for rioting, but there are white aggitators causing the looting and burning. Trump is hiding in his bunker in the white house and now has hundreds of soldiers surrounding the white house.
At least we are safe here with plenty to eat but many folks don't have that option.

Have really been "starving" lately, made some more steel cut oats for the week and have not eaten breakfast until afternoon. Trying to eat supper later as well. still getting in at least 3 quarts of liquid Legs are no longer swelling and that's a good thing. Getting to bed earlier than 3 a.m. LOL and still sleeping late but wake up feeling good most mornings. Haven't lost any weight last few days but probably need more exercise.

Just looked through my weight history and the lowest I have been since 2013 is 185 and highest is 220, and there has been intermittent diets that have lost a few pounds and then dropped off of, but got to stick with this one now. MUST STAY ON DIET. At this point I am 22 pounds down so I CAN do it.
