Weight steadily going down, and activity steadily going up. Feeling better and O2 saturation consistently in high 90s. More energy and less depression. Somewhat bored when I don't have anything to do, but started reading again. No TV so am missing my "shows" LOL

have been really working in the house, cleaning and organizing, getting rid of stuff I don't need and organizing the stuff I want to keep (my kids can throw it out when I die! LOL) so have a big box of clothes to donate. I am really amazed at how pants that fit me 6 months ago have 6 inches of extra waist size, so went today and bought some new pants.
Still being very careful and wear mask, use hand sanitizer and I have been very NICELY SURPRISED THAT ALMOST EVERYONE HAD ON A MASK.
Going through boxes of junk and walking myself from one end of the house to the other so getting in lots of walking.
Also I am working on strengthening my breathing muscles with a machine I bought that you suck air in against resistence and then your abdominal muscles and diaphram get exercise so if you do get bronchitas or pneumonia you can cough more effectively. I have copd from smoking for years and also sleep apnea. and lots of allergies. So working on not just losing weight but working on strengthening every muscle in my body.
I had to laugh though, I have always been a D-cup bra and my nipples pointed really perky and now they look down at my feet. LOL also have a lot of lose abdominal skin from two pregnancies with big babies and "getting fat and soft" from lack of exercize.
It isn't just about losing weight it is about improving your health and how you feel. I have lost 41 pounds in last 6 months, slow and steady. I am a retired advanced practice nurse so I KNOW HOW TO DO IT RIGHT and eat balanced and also low sodium. Not carrying around that extra 41 pounds makes it easier to bend over and to get up.
Hip hip HOORAY FOR ME!

Got on the scale this afternoon after not being home for a week or weighing and danged if I had not lost 40 FORTY POUNDS!!!! I am so proud of myself and rewarded myself with an ice cream sandwich (540 calories)
Totally stoked! It gives me courage to keep on with my new eating habits and not give in to the temptations of over eating. But a nice reward every now and then is not going to derail me!

Slow but steady, haven't been down this low on weight in quite a while, so got to stick with it, and keep on Just lost 1 pound this week but that's okay it is going down slowly.
Also being much more physically active and that is a good thing. Keeping hydrated as well.
Am in lock down from a possible covid exposure today so will be socially distancing even from my own family.
