The cheesy portabella mushrooms Bill posted pics of the other day got me wanting to make some. So this was dinner last night - large portabella mushroom caps stuffed with sauteed onion, garlic, celery, turkey breast, spinach, and a little sour cream. Topped with cheddar cheese and crisped bacon crumbles. About 400 calories, 11 grams net carbs, and delicious enough to make again tonight.

Looks really yummy! I saw some already stuffed in the store yesterday but were 5.00 for just two of them. If they looked like yours, I would have bought them. LOL!

Mom, my local Safeway charges $5 for 2 or 3 mushroom heads alone. $5 for two including the stuffing part doesn't sound bad compared to that! I've got to check some other stores for a better price on the mushrooms.

I went to Weis and got 3 for 3.59. Not as large as yesterday's but we got 1 1/2 apiece. I like Wegmans except it's on the other side of town and heavy traffic.
