Addie Aline's Journal, 08 Nov 15

Just wanted to check in and say I may be absent for awhile I'm not really sure. I'm struggling right now my mood is low I'm sure it's worry about the upcoming retina surgery. It should go ok but I've been told it can be months before I'll know how successful it is nd of course I have to do the other eye next month. I already don't drive unless I really have to because it makes me so nervous. So I'm pretty sure after the 17th I won't be driving at all for awhile and that's just out of my realm of thinking not driving and being house bonde. I'm so greatful that I can enlarge the print on my iPad but this whole thing is messing with my head. My DH still works full time so he can only take off so much and to be honest I don't want to need someone to take care of me. Maybe I'll loose my apiatite that would be good. Anyway I'll just see how it goes, this may be the one place I can go to release some stress even if my weight isn't going lower. Keep up the good fight.

Thanks for all your support, it's just that as it gets closer I get more afraid and I can tell my vision is getting worse since we started talking about it a few months ago and to make me sound even winery I'm afraid I'll gain the weight back even though it's only 10 pounds and I still have lots to go. I know I won't be able to do anything but sit the first week after each surgery and then she said we would go from there. Can you believe I have to take laxatives the first week or longer after each surgery because I can't chance straining. I worry because with my asthma and allergies I cough a lot. It's so easy to get a ear or separation I'm a reck. I could just go on and on but I won't I'm trying to be thankful it can be improved.

Don't be absent! Keep updating on here and let your buddies cheer you on and cheer you up. You've got a tough road ahead of you, but you have to be tougher. Don't try to go it alone.
