Goal for this weekend: Go to the movies (twice) without getting anything to eat while there. Would like to think this is no big deal....but it's one of my weaknesses and one of the quickest ways I derail my healthy eating. I think I can, I think I can.....

Take grapes! :) An easy snack and lasts a while.

Bring in healthy snacks...plan ahead so you do not feel deprived and then eat candy or high carb and fat popcorn.

If you really need a snack there, try to just eat a little popcorn without butter. That's the best of the worst. I like Norhern's idea--eat just before going or HCB's and Lucy's--put some healthy snacks in your purse. Actually, I love the idea of grapes. Sweet, with a little texture.

Thanks for all the ideas. I am on strict low carb so that makes it really hard to find snacks to take in. We have decided to eat dinner right before we go so I think I'll be ok. I'm really trying to get to a point where I can go and not have anything. Food has always had such a hold on me so I'm really trying to just cut it out where it's really not necessary. Seeing Fast and Furious tonight so it should be action packed enough that I don't miss the snacks!

I found that a drink during helps with not having "snacks". Alternatives would be sneak in your own low-carb snack (nuts, cheese, something crunchy but not loud)

I did think about some almonds maybe. Also thought about making some pepperoni chips. I guess I just really would like to try to have nothing but some water. We'll see how tonight goes and then plan accordingly for movie 2 tomorrow lol.
