jmb3450's Journal, 29 Oct 14

My weight has been stuck at around 218 pounds so far this week despite being on track with eating, I don't know if I'm going to stall for a little while before losing more or not. If so no big deal, it's happened before, so continuing on as planned.

we've all been there, jim. sometimes it's the strangest thing that gets it to release. a change in a workout. a rest day. an overeating day. you never know. then again - it could be your body fighting you - and you need to keep fighting - soon, it will relent. you got it!

Hey, you're under 220, that is amazing!!!

I'd like to be below 210 before Thanksgiving gets here, then get through that weekend with minimal gain. I'm happy with my progress but of course would love it to be quicker. Somebody needs to invent an "Easy" button for weight loss. Thanks for the support my friends.

I have no doubt you can be at 210 by Thanksgiving, just hang in there you are doing everything right

Sometimes it takes the body a little time to catch up. I'll offer you a mini challenge, you work on getting below 210 before Thanksgiving and I'll work on getting to 299 before Thanksgiving. I have no doubt that we both will get there.

I'm right there with you... eating 100% clean but the scale isn't moving. It will break soon for both of us, I can feel it!

I've had them last a week or two, but it's not very common to be that long. By Thanksgiving? That's almost a year! Oh, wait. You're in the U.S. I'll bet.

Ok Chillie, let's do it. First hurdle for me is getting through giving out candy on Friday without eating any. NM - Yup, way South of you. ;)

Put the winter tires on the truck yesterday while it snowed on me. :( They keep promising global warming. They'll never deliver - unless they're talking about spring.

Your on Jim. Maybe this little challenge is the inspiration I needed to get there. Here's a hint about Halloween candy. Buy candy that you do not like, but kid's would like.

Better still, buy candy you don't like but the wife would. Guaranteed consumption. (Did I say that out loud?)

The thought of buying candy I don't like is great. Let's see, what kind of candy would that be? I don't think it's been made yet, and even so if it was all that's available I'd develop a taste for it after eating enough of it. I think the solution will be to only buy what I expect to give out and then have some alternative healthier snacking available to me while giving out the candy.

As frustrating as they can be, sometimes our bodies need to plateau to get us to the next level. Your weight graph looks amazing, so you're obviously doing the right things! Hope to stay in touch, and thanks so much for your support on my journal!
