Yesterday I put my fur baby down. She was in such bad shape. She dragged her back legs and even though she was on pain meds she couldn't hold anything down. I did not come to this decision easily but I didn't want her suffering anymore. I cried, prayed, walked but I didn't over eat. I got up today and I still have a stomach full of nerves. I miss her although I no she is out of pain.

I'm so sorry.

I am so very sorry! I had to do the same with sweet shih Tzu Muchkin a little more than 2 years ago. It's just heartbreaking. But her back legs stopped working and she had a problem with her kidneys. Stopped eating. We all cried in the vet's office, me, the vet and the technician. But just couldn't let her suffer.

I am so sorry - losing a treasured pet is one of the hardest things to go through - take good care of yourself.

Oh, so sad. I have one who is fading, so I know this sad day is coming for me too. I send a hug.

I am so sorry! That is really hard to do. But good for you, putting their needs above your own. Please take the time you need to grieve.

God bless your little pup...she is in heaven...running after squirrels and playing with other pups. There is a fantastic book called "Dog Heaven" by Cynthia Rylant. It helped me when I lost my mini-doxie, Abby. I just knew she was happy in puppy heaven. My heart and prayers are with you. XOXO

Thank you all for your support and prayers. She was my only one. I went to my son's house so I wouldn't have to be alone. I just keep thinking about her affection and the way she always loved me. She used to shove her head into my knees. That was her way of hugging me. I loved her so much but she is out of pain now. Thank God You all are so wonderful for helping me with your stories and experiences. Thank you again. I'm gonna stay here till Friday. My son has been so good with helping me. I'm so thankful. I love you all.
