Made hubby take pictures while curling. I can see way more definition when I’m working out than normal. I’m already sore (stinking ab/pull day), but these make me wanna go back just to look in the mirror. Cable crunches may be out tho cause hubby says a few guys were watching me and he had to give them the ‘she’s mine’ look and let them watch him watching them watch me. But in their defense I can just imagine what it looked like I was doing haha.

Felt comfortable enough to nod and smile at a few ladies tonight. Also felt okay surrounded by men at the free weights. Nobody seemed to be watching over there so I wasn’t very nervous (even tho I forgot to take my anxiety meds). Was cool that I was working right behind another girl.

Thanks guys ☺️. Hip thrust pics are out lol. Hubby refused to do hip work at the gym and now I think I see why. Not only embarrassing potentially, but also watchers. Hubby got checked out by a guy tonight too so we are even I think hehe.

Aww thanks guys! The definition shows up way more when working out than trying to flex. Perhaps I’m flexing wrong lol. It’s coming along more slowly than I’d hoped BUT I can tell it IS coming along with pics like these.

@Chris, is that what the shoulders are called? They don’t look that big except when doing certain exercises. Perhaps I still have too much fat covering them for me to see them properly. As for D’s muscles... I’d still gladly take donations lol. Same for anyone who wants to try the experimental surgery hehe. I think I want double what I have now. Then of course I want abs as they aren’t showing up (stupid sweet tooth haha).

This is probably about where I was in high school or maybe a little more. I had a decent fat layer then, more on my arms then than now, but was lighter and smaller (1-2 sizes smaller). It took 4-6 months last summer/fall then 3.5 months now to get here. Would anyone know an approximate timeline for me to double the muscle I have now? That is IF I keep the same routines, 3x a week etc, same as I’ve been doing for 3.5 months now. School sports starts in a month so my gym time will go to 2x a week most weeks and once at home I think. I’m hoping for 4 months if I keep 3x. Maybe 6 months with the 2x. That would be the same amount of workouts. Does it take longer to double? After 3 months am I out of the newbie gains time? The thinner leaner stronger book says 3months up to 6. I’m hoping to make the rest count more IF I have more newbie gains coming 😉. TIA
