NSV of the day:
Back in September, I bought the first belt I've had in 20+ years. When I bought it, I could barely fit the prong through the first hole, and could not breathe when I did so, but I bought the belt in faith anyway. I was smart going into this venture and bought a belt with holes spaces all the way around (1" from hole center to hold center).
Today, I cut 7 inches off that belt and STILL have the prong through the 6th hole from the end. Total subjective loss: 13 inches! Actually, with the belt ratcheted to the 6th hole, it is still not as tight as it was on the first hole when I bought it, so the inch difference is probably even slightly more.
So that's a great way to start the New Year, eh?
