Happy New Year, fs!!
Having some deep reflection on last year, and next. Actually getting excited for year 2 of journey.
In danger of injuring right arm and shoulder patting self on back for running a bunch of errands this morning, coming home and suiting up the doggie in sweater and boots, and braving the icy streets. She is killing it in those boots. I am so ridiculously proud of her. Ran into a neighbor who invited us to his house for a party tonight. I know we should go, but i like to be n bed by nine, lol.
Bought yet more brisket and crab legs for us. Last hurrah of 2018. Also got stuff for get-well box for neighbor who just had knee replacement: bagel sampler with all the fixings, martini kit, Christmas treats that i made last week, assortment of trashy magazines. Will deliver tomorrow, when i am guessing we all may be a bit hungover.
Rm and i will do our holiday gift exchange tonight. Santa and the hanukkah elf chipped in to bring a few modest things that have been appearing on the dining room table.
I had to have a bagel. Seriously my favorite food on earth.
