No change in set weight...still a few pounds under recorded weight.

Biking is fun,😎 but sometimes it hurts 🤕🤕;

Here is a different before and after pic LOL, first picture taken Tuesday last week, before a 50 mile ride which was cut short at 42 miles by a crack in the concrete which locked up my front wheel....over the handlebars I went at 32 kph (19 mph).

A nice bystander called an ambulance as things weren't looking too good at the time...but in the end very thankful, no broken bones, upper body, head & face all good, but lots of internal bleeding, pretty severe bruising, large hematoma with trauma edema swelling through the lower back, right hip and groin area. Pic from the side taken yesterday, nine days after the spill (NOTE: I deleted the injury pic, spring 2020...it was not pretty).

Be careful out there, 😁😁

Man...you are one lucky SOB! Even when one does not hit the head - this kind of jolt will still rock your brain around inside the cranium. Be aware of subtle concussion symptoms e.g., dizziness, vision issues, ringing in the ears, fogginess, poor concentration, etc.

Hey thnx all, sorry for the tardy response...out camping, slightly of the grid. Did my first real "test ride" yesterday (10 days after the spill), didn't know how it would go, but although first 30 minutes were "interesting", in the end it went real well...got in 24.2 miles on the mountain bike in 1:44. Feels like a longer ride will go Ok...so hoping to do a longer test later this weekend.

Thnx guys, UPDATE; just returned from our family camping trip....got in two test rides on the mountain bike and both went really well. Still pretty swollen through the right hip and side but movement was pretty good and pain free. Going to test out the body on the road bike ride in a few hours, hopefully it goes just as well.
