Why oh why did I tell these folks I'd house sit AND watch their "ankle biter"... these folks are salt of the earth types and they'd give you their last dime - but the food they left (oh, the food)... this ain't gonna be a productive WOE weekend, just throwin' that out there, know what I mean?

Good luck! Perhaps you could run to the store. Lock up their goodies in a room you don’t have the key to (non perishables only of course lol). You can explain to them when they get home ;). “Hey man, sorry but I was too tempted so I hid all your goodies. Have fun with a new game of ‘find the candy’!” Lol And honestly, portion control and moderation... you’ll do fine ;).
