Mango Raspberry Sorbet

A delicious sugar-free, all natural sorbet you can blend at home.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Place frozen raspberries and frozen mangos in blender. Pour unsweetened orange juice over the mix.
  2. Blend on high speed until smooth.
  3. Place in a serving cup with a mint sprig if desired, and enjoy!
  4. Note: it will be just as pleasingly sweet as commercial sorbet, but without added sugar.

This looks very good and easy to make. Can you use other berries?

Haven't tried yet. For post workout only. Try using water with orange extract instead of the orange juice for a more moderate carb count. Also try adding the protein isolate to it.

This sounds great! Will modify to make sure it's sugar-free. Will add flax seed too.

i wasnt sure how much i was gonna like this, because im not a big fan of any fruit that isnt straight off the vine, but for what it is, i liked it. i only ate a couple spoon fulls tonight but i put it in the freezer so it'll harden and i can eat it like an italian ice tomorrow. i had mango, a few raspberries, and mostly strawberries, all bought fresh and frozen myself. the raspberries took on an odd flavor when frozen, although they werent all that tasty in life either, i guess its not the right season for them. oh and instead of oj, i had some diet dr. pepper cherry left in my glass, so used that, it was good, worked fine :) anyways, it feels nice to have a treat in the freezer that i can feel good about, and in small doses its completely giult free :) thanx for the recipe!

If it came out too watery, it's probably because you didn't use FROZEN fruit and/or too much liquid. This is good. I'm going to eat this on my birthday instead of icecream.
