Fried Cabbage with Bacon

A wonderful low carb side that can be eaten alone or served with pork chops.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Fry bacon add the onion and chopped cabbage to bacon drippings.
  2. Add Worcestershire sauce and black pepper.
  3. Cook until cabbage is tender.
  4. Sprinkle crumbled bacon and serve.

This sounds great! I'm going to try it. Right now I'm lovin' green beans with crumbled bacon and a dollop of sour cream.

actually I have a question, do you add water? If so, how much? This is fatfree. Could someone let me know, i would like to try this for thanksgiving.

I left out the bacon and used the dripping from my pork chop instead.

This sounds great. I have always done the same but with ground beef instead of bacon. I also add a little bit of soy sauce instead of worcestershire.
