Happy Sunday everyone.

Yesterday was my weigh in day but I guess today will have to do it. I lost 2 pounds since my last weigh in. Not much but I will take it.

I have a couple of major health goals I want to accomplish to 2016 will be a great year since I am very focused.

Today I began P90X and will continue it for the next 3 months. The routines are very tough and I didn't complete the first session. It is a chest and back routine. The good thing is I had the will and the only reason I didn't complete it is that my chest muscles (it involves several forms of pushups)were totally fatigued so that is a good thing.

I will add some aerobic workout every day for about a half hour and ab work.

It's time for the final surge to get me down to my normal weight and keep my body metabolism up by adding muscle.

Has anyone adjusted their weight or workout goals this year?

hi, good work. 2 pounds is normal for a week, thats all im aiming for to lose , i have ajusted my calorie intake, as i was to slack with it before and working out wasnt getting much results because i would eat what i burnt off, so now im down to 1500 roughly a day which is ok, not easy but im feeling lighter already,. the clothes im wearing are getting loser and you know in yourself when its working or not, i work out 5 days a week, i dont have a job right now so i have to do that, i do zumba which is fun and burns off a lot to, good luck

When my son was 15 he was 325# and just at six ft tall. He started P90X and started drinking more than a gallon of water a day. In six months he dropped 100#. He was completely committed to it. Now five yrs later, he is 6'7" and about 275. He's gained just at 50# back. So he's back on it hard core. P90X is the truth. I wish you all the best!!😀

I hired a trainer twice a week. Very $$ but I need to be pushed. It seemed like if I focused on my eating...the shopping, cooking, etc, then I wasn't diligent on my workouts so...i "invested" in exercise. I plan to use trainer to build muscle, help me lose inches and I'm focused on eating much better. I'll admit I'm still struggling, probably always will, but I won't, can't give up! If thousands of others can do it so can I. This is a reason my trainer told me about fatsecret. She knows the struggles I read about, the solutions that buddies will pass along will help me achieve my goals.

Thanks for the support and comments. A friend of mine asked my why a professional golfer, athlete etc., needed a coach. I think it's for the reason SjF60 mentioned; needing to be pushed along with finding flaws in what we do. My schedule is so fractured that I can't do the coach thing. And after working on my own routine, I decided that the best way to get the "Coach" to push me is the P90X. After the first day, I realized that this has pushed me much more than I was pushing myself. So second day here I come. I look forward to my Saturday weigh in. Have a great Monday!
