3 days of no solid food in order to have a weekly loss. Reminds me of my days going to Weight Watchers. Meeting on Thursday after work, then a bunch of us went out for a piece of pie afterwards. I'd often go out to lunch Friday with co workers and maybe again on the weekend. Then I'd be good Monday until the meeting, usually fasting Thursday and weigh in with a loss. Not ideal and not how I plan to go forward now

Glad you had a weight loss. I don't think doing Weight Watchers that way would have ended well for me like it must have for some of your group. LOL. I agree with you. To get the best benefit we need to eat well every day and I don't.

Thanks Shir! Thanks Morticia. I didn't always do Weight Watchers that way but I did focus on the weekly weigh in so didn't eat on the day of the meeting. Which is why I was hungry after the meeting. Monday meetings were better because it would force me to do good on the weekend. I'm trying to avoid doing that now, but was determined to show a loss for the week.

Do you still walk with your neighbor? She sounds like a good one to keep in your circle. It’s much easier to lose weight with healthy friends. And nice work on that scale drop!👏🏼

Thanks Kat! Tomato soup 3 days in a row! I went to the tiny farmer's market in my community this morning and bought raspberries and blackberries, but made the mistake of stopping at the stand of a home bakery which always has something I want. Avoided buying a berry muffin loaf but did get a rough dough baguette. Nada little piece and will put the rest in the freezer.

Thanks Bananas. It's too hot to walk if I don't get out by 7:30. My friend doesn't like to walk until around 7 or so. Her husband Is sick so goes to doctor's appointments most days. We did meet for lunch not long ago and will try to do some walking together in a month or so.

My sister did WW and lost 50 lbs but gained it all back. I'm glad you were able to lose weight though. I think I may be up cuz we are staying at my sister's and even though I'm busy every day, her WOE isn't anything like mine. Lots of fast food and sauces in her diet.

Good job! I am trying JJ Smiths 7 day Apple Cider Vinegar cleanse as i like her green smoothie one. It's supposed to give the same results as the water fasts or juice fasts but you can eat certain foods during it. I was skeptical but I've lost -5 lbs in 3 days (some water weight of course) so I've liked it so far. Anyway just FYI if you are wanting to try something new sometime?

Thanks Diana! WW worked for me as long as I attended the weekly meetings because of the weigh in. But I didn't want to continue paying $10 a week, or whatever it was, just to weigh in. That's how I found FS. My doctor has actually been the biggest help to me in determining the best WOE for me - anti-inflammatory. Funny how knowing you should eat doesn't always mean the way you (or I) actually eat.

Thanks T3, 5 pound in 3 days is wonderful, even if it is water weight. I have tried apple cider vinegar, but just can't continue with it. Causes coughing fits. I do liquid fasts once in awhile, usually to break through a plateau
