Yesterdays weigh in showed an increase of about 0.4lbs, but I'd forgotten to do it before dinner, so mentally I'm not calling it a gain cuz I'd already eaten the appetizers and drank almost the full bottle of water by the time I hit the scale. Is that too picky?

When I gain 1/2 a pound from one day to the next and know what has been eaten, it is chalked up to a gain caused by salt or lack of exercise the previous day. And generally that is true. It is nothing and will go away within a couple of days. Also, when I've had 2 - 3 days of extra heavy caloried meals from vacations, visiting relatives, or whatever,....the effect is similar but much worse. It comes off within a week. I just concentrate on eating better and getting back to the exercise consistently. I am going through that right now, having been out-of-town for a birthday weekend for my granddaughter. Way too much food and no exercise. I don't get bent out of shape about it, but focuse on getting back on track. So, it is not picky at all.

I wouldn't count it. I'm a wake-up, go to the bathroom and weigh myself first thing in the morning person, no other time counts for me.

I never record a weight that's not bare naked, in the morning. Why weigh your morning coffee and breakfast?

Agree with all the above. You are too picky💕. Weigh in the am when you first get up and after you use the restroom. Weight does fluctuate thruout the day but of course if you add liquid and food it will be ⬆️
