Happy 😃 happy 😃 cold Sunday…

14…6 with wind blowing…but warmer nights ahead this next week…o boy…

Already started my arm/shoulder 🏋️‍♀️…get my morning rush going…help get this body warmed up..sure I can turn the heat up in room..but when I do..then it’s to warm…where as if I workout..I can leave the heat lower..and be more comfy…

No ride yet..hopefully after lunch…one of them…my body isn’t ready to ride yet..my body is recovered..just sat to long this morning..listening to a you tube video…or 2… lol..

Added a ez curl bar into my workouts yesterday…eventually adding a 20 pound resistance band to it..doing dead lifts…and other workouts using it..when I took it out of package..I though..this is heavier then I expected…it only weighs 14 pounds…odd how when you don’t pick heavy things up..they seem heavier…

Already looking ahead..not sure if when I hit my goal..if I will just maintain..or keep dropping…haven’t decided…

As humans..we always..want more…

You are so right! I know I need to work on my muscles and walking isn’t enough. I struggle with simple things like opening a jar. Ugh… Is that common for someone 71? Maybe, maybe not. My weight lifting is my 2 year old granddaughter! I do admire your dedication.

Good morning! Yes! It is a cold one! It is 15! Warmer days in the 40’s starting tomorrow. A heatwave! Lol Your workout inspires me every day and your knowledge about it! Wish I could take what I learn from you and do something with it. It seems complicated. Lol I do well at lifting my coffee cup, walking on the treadmill, walking outside and up and around my multi-level house and that’s about it. Nothing fancy! Lol I need to do better. Went to the flea/craft show. Nothing for me. Nephew bought freeze dried skittles and a little pocket knife. It was fun and nice to get out but very cold and windy. Better get to my ☕️☕️. We had our cold one yesterday. Today will be warm enough for a pleasant walk outside or maybe even a hike. Ah, hitting goal...there always seems to be another goal after it, doesn't there? Maybe dropping more, maybe getting stronger or more aerobically fit, maybe improving diet. Regardless, when you get there, revel in the achievement a bit! 😃

It was 80 here in Disneyland City yesterday, but I didn’t get a chance to really get out and hike or walk. My neighbor passed away two days ago so have been busy baking and running a few errands for the.

You kno jav…when I started using the resistance bands…they had set in my closet for a year ..still in the box…u had gone to doctor..he was wearing one around his neck..we talked about them..I laughed about having a set…still in the box collecting dust…but after the visit..I went on you tube to get ideas of different moves I could make a routine into…the counter pushups I do….when I started..I couldn’t do 1… I thought I had arm strength..but found out I didn’t…and over time it became a habit..like anything..more you do it..it’s worth gaining the muscle as an older adult…as we lose muscle as we age…

Mine are still in the box too! Perhaps dry rot as I won them at work and I’ve been retired for about 9 years. Maybe I will check them out! Thanks! You are so true … it’s about establishing a habit. Thanks again!
