We got some rain overnight - love that sound. I haven't let Bobby out this morning yet. It's 6:08 and it won't get light for about an hour. It's too cold for me to go out with him. I fed him at 3pm let him out just before it got dark and then put up his water dishes. I think he'll be okay for an hour.
It's 56 in the house. Was nice and warm sleeping last night with heated blankets although Bobby and all 3 cats wanted the warmth on the blanket too so Bobby pressed against me, one of the cats was on me. That's what it's like in the winter. During hot weather they all leave me alone.
Not sure what I'll eat today. I have chicken thawing for stew but probably won't cook until tomorrow. Maybe scrambled eggs for lunch. Right now I have coffee only for breakfast, sometimes I'll add a toasted 1/4 bagel. But then just one meal later and some snacks like the pumpkin seeds I bought the other day.

Hello, Fritz! Good to hear your story about temperature, pets, food and etc. I wish I would have a dog and a cat. Also, I eat pumpkin seed as a snack. I think my room was cold last night because I noticed that my voice is changed to a little bit husky without any other symptoms. You stay healthy and safe. 😊

Thanks Anne - pets are a joy and such good companions. Dogs want to please you but cats just want you to take care of them! I had a cough and scratchy throat when I slept with the window open about a week ago. It's too cold for that now! Thanks Diana - it's just the heated blankets that get them close to me. Although Bobby would love to be able to lean against me all the time. I tell him to "move" and he does. He's just too heavy.
