Worked my a$$ off for this week's loss - and it feels great!! I've become so much more refocused on my exercise (not so much in logging in my food, but I think that's due to the fact that what I've been eating is pretty much the same thing). I don't need much variety in my daily weekday meals - I'm a creature of habit. And, I figure, if I like it, and it's working, why change it? I do eat a bit differently on the weekends, yet still try to stay within my RDI. If I go over one day (what you'd call my cheat or free day), I make sure to really turn on the exercise. But, I've learned to ask myself if it's really important that I cheat (is the food something I've really craved? Or, can I find an alternative that's not as high in calories yet will still allow me to feel fulfilled? I've learned, however, to allow those treats when I do really want them - otherwise, it gets stuck in my heard and I'm wanting to binge on a whole other mess of things! Mind games with myself.

So, I've finished the private training sessions at the kettlebell/TRX gym and just started the classes last night. Boy, did that class wipe me out! Here I thought the privates were hard cause the trainer is watching your every move. Well, this was a different kind of hard! First, the other ladies in the class were all young and already skinny (they are going to get "toned"). So, my 47 year old body was trying to keep up with the 20 something's. But, I did it! And, they were a nice and encouraging bunch of girls. I wasn't the one in the worst shape either! We started off with the TRX and kettlebells (did some new moves) and then moved into another room with rotating 30 sec sessions. Stand on one leg in front of a chair (other leg off floor in front of you) and lower yourself back into the chair and back up (over and over...30 sec is a long time! Ha ha). Switch legs next 30 sec. Wow - pretty difficult. Two stations on the TRX. One on those big thick ropes you slap up and down (heart rate now up) and then over to three stations where you're using sliders. First, hands on ground and feet on sliders and pulling body into pike (or frog) position. Next two, knees on ground and put hands on sliders. First one move away from body and back in, second one doing circles. Omg - this class was a big cardio workout and one of the hardest I've done. Definitely does not measure up to the Zumba, kick boxing, and other classes at my "real" gym (I call this particular gym a "boutique" kinda gym - not sure why....I guess cause it's not the big franchise kind).

Going to ball game tonight with bff's family (I get to meet her foreign exchange student from japan!). Plan to get some cleaning done over the weekend.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Thats awesome! Dont sweat the food logging. I have recently discovered that when your hitting the exercise (weights) hard it's very difficult to gain weight. Your doing great!
