First full week back on track. Total weight difference -7.75 lbs. I am happy with that result, but I have to admit my mind wonders how much of that is "just water".
I have to find a way to stay motivated when the scale doesn't move as quickly as I'd like. This morning I FELT thinner. I just had this feeling my weigh-in would be exciting...alas, I only recorded a 1/4 lb loss. I started to feel discouraged, but then I realized if I was doing a weekly weigh-in instead of a daily weigh-in I would have been thrilled.
I wonder how long it will be before I notice body changes ~ not just FEELING thinner, but the fit of clothing noticeably different? I am determined to stick with this for the health benefits. I want to be able to move around in my life (in my own skin) easier. Somehow I just have to pound it into my own head that this is going to be a long haul.

You're doing exactly as I tend to do. When I first get started, I start to lose quite fast, a little bit every day, so I weigh myself every day. It keeps me motivated. 1/4 lb loss in 1 day is awesome! It's going down! If you start to get discouraged, you may want to weigh in a little less often. I am now weighing every other day. I would like to go to once per week, but I'm not ready for that yet. I like to see the movement. It keeps me motivated, even with 1/4 lb! Everyone weighs in differently. It's what works for you. 7.7 is an amazing drop! I just realized. We weigh exactly the same today! You keep it up at the rate you're going, and you'll notice the difference in your clothing very soon! My jeans aren't as tight. One of these days they're going to fall to my ankles:)! You have a wonderful day!!

If I may make a suggestion, and if you haven't already started doing this, measure yourself. Sometimes you may not see results on the scale, but a measuring tape really speaks for itself and the progress you are making. Keep up the great work you are doing.
