It looks like I'll be coming in at least 3 full pounds under my end of April goal of 217. Today I weighted in at 213.5, so even if I wind up at 214, I'll be thrilled.

It looks like the commitment to the gym really paid off, plus running around after the new dog must have helped also.

By the way, if anyone wants to see the new dog in action, here is the speech I gave last week at my Toastmasters club with the dog as a prop/visual aid.

It's about 7 minutes long if you have the time. The dog is about as cute as can be. This is not for a contest this time; it was only to share with my club and to get credit for another speech at my club. Enjoy, those of you who enjoy seeing a cute dog in a video.
