Eral66's Journal, 25 Sep 21

I am done! < 157 lbs, 71 kg, 20.3 BMI, that's enough. Down 45+ lbs in 115 days (0.4 lb/day, not recommended daily intake of 330kcal), it can be done. Change is hardly visible, but I can definitely feel that most of the blubber is gone. I also of course feel pretty weak and light headed, but I think I can recover.

Now to prove the statistics wrong and maintain this weight +/- 5 lbs. First thing first: making myself a huge decadent pizza tomorrow.

If I had one thought after this experiment, it would be that weight fluctuations are very unpredictable, even for long periods. I have no explanation for what happened to me in August, so don't worry too much as long as you stay the course that you know works for you.

The moral support from this site is amazing, it makes the effort a lot less lonesome.

Thank you.

Great job on all your progress. It sounds like it's time to find your maintenance calories and start tracking that on a regular basis.

The hardest thing for me - after weight loss - is to not use food as "reward" - like - I have been good - so I am going to eat a chocolate bar - I found that to be the hardest thing to maintain - instead of stating - I am going to go for a walk since my body moves easier or go out and try on "new clothes" to fit your new form - there is no requirement to purchase anything just because you try it on - Take photos of you in your new clothes. 300 calories per day is severe - you were serious. Congratulations.

Excellent work! Nicely done. Have you considered serving yourself up a healthy dose of resistance training along with that pizza? Ramping up strength training coming off a hard cut has been super helpful to me in avoiding a big rebound. YMMV. Good luck! Let's go!
