My lesson for this week is that sometimes you have to ignore the scale. You do everything right, and you simply cannot let the numbers discourage you.
I decided that I totally wish I had the control to only weigh myself every 3 days or once a week, like some. I just don't. I can control what I eat, but I want those numbers to creep down everyday. Is that wrong?
I should say, is it wrong to let myself be pissed off all day when I gain weight for no good reason? Don't answer: The answer is yes. I cannot let the mild fluctuations that occur get me down when I know I'm doing everything right.
I know intellectually it's temporary and that tomorrow it could go down 3 pounds. I just wish things didn't bounce around. But they do, and I have to do a back flip and get over myself!
