I ate over my calories yesterday, I had a hard time my brain just went into binge mode. There are days where my appetite is ok, I'm not too hungry and can even do OMAD. Then other days where even though I feel full, my brain is saying "eat more". Yesterday was one of those days. But the calories even out at the end of the week so I'm ok. First time trying Caprese salad with my husband last night. I'm excited for summer so we can have it again with fresh summer tomatoes! It was simple but so good. Not sure why FS won't let me upload pictures but it looked pretty with the red, white and green.

I've never had Caprese salad. Is the white part mozzarella cheese? Does it have some kind of Italian dressing on it? Might be that I've seen a picture somewhere. We all have days where we're hungry all day. Well, actually I don't (because my vagus nerve was severed in gastric bypass surgery so I never feel actual hunger), but I have a psychologically overwhelming DESIRE for food all day sometimes. Just put that day behind you and move on to a OMAD day or just three moderate meals in a day. You've got this!

@Debbie, it's tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil with salt, pepper, olive oil. It looks like an Italian flag assembled together. Super simple to put together, the taste to effort ratio is off the charts. Thanks! Yes, I was just in a mood, mood for food.

@HCB, I have a hard time at restaurants when they serve warm bread. It's easy for me at home out of sight out of mind, I can just not buy bread. Thanks!
