Hello My FS friends/family. while I'm here updating my weigh in. I will bring you guys up to speed concerning Hubby.

Frist let me just say THANK ALL OF YOU... for those prayers and wonderful words. I had no clue that my journal reached so many of you. There is power in numbers and You guys touched and agreed on the same thing. And while you were, God was working it out.

Right before they took him in, They informed him that not only his Appendix was beginning to rupture but there was a hernia not far from it. The surgery was a success. However the next day, he ran into trouble not being able to release fluids this caused much pain. They went in fixed that. Then he couldn't pass gas or poop. so they end up fixing that.

I was calm. I think I did well. I did eat some things that maybe I shouldn't have at some point. However. I did take advantage of doing something that I was not doing (walking) yes walking. I had lost A couple of pounds before this came up but found one of them. But looking back over it, I could have done worse. I know this is a lot to read. Just wanted to let you know where we are. Oh he is now home and recovering really well. He's 70 yrs old but he is a man that Loves the Lord and strongly believes in prayer. So again thank you all. God bless all of you on your journey. I'll keep moving.

69.4 kg Lost so far: 3.2 kg. Still to go: 1.4 kg. Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Losing 0.4 kg a Week

Thanks mbd121. Sometime I wonder if these things are just part of life challenges that tell the test of time. Will we press forward or turn back? I choose to press forward. Hope all is well with you and your journey.

All this year I have dealt with a very ill sister who does not live near me so I spent a lot of time hanging out in parking lots and eating the most available foods the area had to offer. Even eating hospital cafeteria food is not the greatest option, so I get it. It sounds like this surgery thing ended up being a lot more complicating for him than planned. Glad he is doing better and is home

Of course 💕 We are here for you. Thank you for the update, I was thinking about you. I knew you would be busy either at the hospital or taking care of him and would post in due time. Even through all that you managed to post a loss which is a win in my book. Remember to take time for yourself as well. There's always more to do but take care of yourself so you can take care of others.
