FullaBella's Journal, 03 Oct 13

If you're wondering about the brief chilly moment at approximately 8pm eastern last night that was the sensation of hell freezing over when DH actually said 'Today was very nice, I really enjoyed it, and you totally surprised me with everything. I like the way you made people come at different times in the day but not stay too long. I feel like I've been at a very relaxed party for the past 7 hours. Everyone complimented all the special things you did and commented on your talent and I agree. Thank you.'

Maybe you heard the 'thud' of me hitting the deck when I passed out in surprise and relief. To use the phrase from the comments on my journal yesterday, yes, I spent the rest of the evening staring at the balloons, the soft lights on the birthday tree, and basking in the afterglow. Then vintage Bella nudged me and asked 'how will you top this next year' but I shoved a cake pop in her mouth. Just one though. Red velvet cake balls with creme cheese coating. What will they think of next?

Tuna & pickles for breakfast; roasted chicken for lunch; carrot cake ball for a snack. I'm sure as it had carrots in it I can count it as a vegetable, right? LOL.

I'm exhausted and sleep deprived and could fall asleep sitting here at my desk if I didn't think I'd have smeared mascara and drool on my chin when a customer came thru the door. So I think I'll get the Princess of Procrastination on her feet and go stand up by a counter and organize my quarterly taxes. Wish I had a tax Angel :-)

Hope you're all having a great day.

That's so wonderful that not only did hubby enjoy the party but he voiced his gratitude. I wish I had a tax angel, too. Once upon a time, I took a tax preparer's course and now hubby and daughter just shove their stuff at me come tax time and expect me to make sense of it all. It used to be easy when we lived outside Quebec but they have a different way of doing the tax here than the rest of the country. Sigh. Anyway, hope you have luck sorting through your taxes today.

Front row seat in heaven for you. And if you're the Princess of Procrastination, I'm the Queen. Had to register for a medical chart, went online, entered all information to be informed my activation code had expired 15 minutes prior. Now, about the serious stuff. Red velvet cake balls with cream cheese and for the benefit of those who love carrot cake (not I says Kathy... hahahahaha)... they are made how? And dare I ask how many calories/fat/carbs/protein in each if they measure 5"x5". Sending sleep vibes to you for a wonderful restful sleep tonight.

You just made my great day better! I'm so happy that you made your DH so happy on his birthday & that he so nicely expressed his gratitude. That's all we really ever want, isn't it... to feel appreciated? And you should as you do so much for him all year long & made this big birthday so extra special... just like you -- extra, extra, extra special, Angel! xoxox

Thank you for explaining that cool breeze I felt amongst the 80's last night! I am so glad that he acknowledged your efforts, that is wonderful! And yes, I am with everyone else, carrot cake is a vegetable much the same way that chocolate for me is a salad! :)
