BK2526's Journal, 15 May 20

I may not be posting as much but I do appreciate all the support and comments. I read a lot of your journals and while I may not click a heart or make a comment just know I’m excited to see all the growth of the person behind the screen. Don’t let a line on your page determine your self worth. Red, yellow, green, or blue doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme. It’s cool if you hit a goal but remember the things you did to get there. Where you were, where you are, and where you are trying to get. It’s only a motivational tool (if you need it). The red arrow or green arrow on your weigh-in days are just there to help you focus or refocus. To keep track of your trend. Not knocking reaching a blue because it’s cool you hit your goal but more goes into it. Maintaining and the lessons you’ve learned is what you really achieved. Any day you move and/or conquer a need to binge or resist the urge to make unhealthy decisions is the real testament to your growth.
On the flip, and let’s be realistic, we will have moments of failures. It’s what you do after a backslide is where you show yourself what you can do. You can either give up or give it your all.
Keep moving, keep pushing. Keep posting the things you want. It’s your journey, your journal. What may seem insignificant to another may matter to someone else.
And don’t worry yourself about needing to look around to someone else for goals. You are not them. You won’t be them. Use them as inspiration, if their posts speak to you. That’s all.
Okay, I’m done with the pep talk (it was also for me because sometimes I need to remind myself).

Now for fun stuff...
NSV, bought a pair of small pants (6-8) and I was able to wear them! Yay. It was the tiniest bit snug on thighs and booty but waist was comfortable. Not ready to ditch all my mediums or 8 or 10 size jeans but closer.
Well, it was fun for me. Lol

Loved the pep talk. It is easy to get discouraged or lost in drama so a reminder to keeping my journey going is appreciated

Very well worded inspiration and motivation. We are not all in the same place in our lives at the same time. We are each unique and individual. We should not be using our success to shame someone else or put them down. Thank you for putting your message out there today! 💖☀️

Thank you for your words. I agree with all you said. They are not you, you are not them and we all get inspiration from different things. That is a fantastic NSV.

Great job! I loved when I could get into smalls again. I still can wear some mediums so I have some of each.

Excellent points. There are no team leaders here, just people all in different varieties of the same boat. We can't know how others should best use this site, this community, and their own bodies. Thanks for the pep talk. Keep up the great work!

Well said, thank you. And so great about the small pants. My bones wouldn't fit in a 6-8; when I was skinny I wore a 10. LOL!
