I worked a double yesterday 9am-10pm so I get today off! Of course I went to the gym ❤️❤️😍😘😍❤️❤️😂 I did bench press And Squats 😃 It was a quick workout through. Tomorrow is deadlift day. I tried out 2 new squats today. The front squat and the zerker squat (pic below). I have no idea how to properly hold the bar on the front squat. I couldn’t hold it while resting on my collar bone 🤔🤔🙁 I gave up quick but the zerker squat worked out great! I should have checked the set up before attempting it. I squatted with my elbows on the outside of my knees 🙃 I probably looked weird doing it but Whatever 😄 I just finished my sausage gravy and I think I’m gonna just lay in bed for a while and watch some tv 🥰

MrsRoboto gotta get that gravy in 😄 Keyten I think so. The weight in front of your center of gravity is what counts the most. I only squatted the bar (45#) and it was a bit of a challenge. I did them last though so I was fatigued.

Oh and I got 5 full reps at 90 pounds on the Lat pull down!! It’s so difficult. The weight pulls me up off the seat with every rep I have to fight to stay seated 😂

One word about sausage gravy: please oh please can I have a bite? I need to figure out a way to have that in a 'serving size' portion rather than making a beverage out of it.

Nice bonus with the scale as well.

Front Squats- Hold the bar while crossing your arms or standard by holding the bar with the elbows even with your shoulders. Palms of hands open.

That's an interesting squat -- I might try it. Thanks.

Yum, sausage gravy! Enjoy your TV because you have earned it - awesome job with work and the gym!

I watched some vids and took skill nap 😁 I see what you mean Srossca that will probably help. I can’t really touch my shoulders with the back of my hands so holding it on top that way should be possible. Tattoo might be in the way though 😆

Sausage gravy is so good! I make it many different ways varying in calorie count. This way much lower in fat than most but still super yum! Turkey sausage and only half milk 😋

Keyten are you talking about the cable rows? I can imagine your tiny frame ricocheting back to start! 😯😂

You amaze me.

I would think that holding the bar that way, would hurt your arms and limit the weight you could use. Wouldn't you get the same effect on your legs and glutes, holding the bar with your hands at the same height?
