Here for my two-week weigh-in. Still doing well, hanging in at losing 2-ish pounds a week.

Bought some new pants this week. Tried on women's pants... and decided they still suck. I'm somewhere between a 10 and a 12 now, which is fine, but why in the world do women's pants suck so much? They have no, or tiny little pockets. They are made out of the crappiest materials. And they make me look like some demented artist is trying to draw a heart on the bottom half of my body.

After I got sick of messing with women's pants, I wandered over the men's section. Found a cheaper, thicker, nicer pair of jeans for half the price of the women's pants, that fit properly and actually have pockets. Bought them.
31x30's you guys! Even in my 20's I was in 32x30's. So, that was a nice victory anyway.

Have I said how much I hate shopping? Because I hate shopping. And I think I should have said it before somewhere.... ....

You did good!! You found a nice pair of pant. Pants are tough. I do not have a "standard" body type so it really can be hard depending on what fashions are like. I have appreciated that it is acceptable to wear workout clothes in public leisure situations.

Great weight loss! And you are right about women's pants. Why do they think we don't need pockets?

I feel ya! I used to buy men's jeans in my teens because they fit better and I could get them long enough (32" inseam) .

I appreciate the kind words from everyone about my weight loss. I still have 35 pounds to go for my goal weight, but I'm happy with my progress so far. As far as the shopping trip goes, I ended up with just a nice pair of dark blue, stretch, straight leg George brand jeans from Walmart. I tried Target first, but they wanted $32 for a pair of their Levi's. At this point, I can't bring myself to spend a bunch of money on clothes that I'm pretty sure I'm just going to end up replacing in a few months (hopefully anyway). I thought about heading to Goodwill to look also, but from my experience, jeans are often pretty used by the time they make it to that particular place. Anyway... the Walmart jeans were $16 and they would have been at least $5 at Goodwill. I'm good with my choice here. Designer gods, please hear us, "Women want pockets!"

Don't forget the thrift stores - you can find amazing bargains there. Also donating your too-big clothes can get you a nice tax deduction.
